Pork Goulash Recipe – Mama’s Answer To Cold Winter Evenings

My mother’s Pork Goulash was influenced by my Hungarian mother-in-law who loved to be in mama’s kitchen, although they had different ways of cooking. My mother liked pork, although she did not often cook it. This dish became a popular meal on dark winter evenings, when the night air was crisp. Cooked slowly with bacon, pork, sauerkraut and sour cream mama’s pork goulash was a filling meat dish that warmed us physically and emotionally.
